Home Cleaning Tips Additional Uses for Homemade Daily Shower Spray

Additional Uses for Homemade Daily Shower Spray

by Catherine

Hi, Y’all!

I know that I always like when one cleaner has additional uses. I’m writing this post today, because I have great news! The shower spray that I brought to you the other day, click this link to read about how to make it, has an additional use: It works wonderfully to clean stone or tile floors. (Note: Do NOT use this spray on wood floors. It will strip the finish.)

Here is how I do it:

I get out my sponge mop, and my EC3 Shower Spray.

I use my handheld vacuum to “sweep” the floor of whichever room I’m going to mop. You need to make sure to remove all of the dust and dirt prior to mopping. If you don’t you will just be pushing the grime around on the floor with the mop and not really cleaning.

Our slate bathroom floor is now vacuumed, and is free of dirt and dust. This is an important step before mopping.

I wet my sponge mop with warm water. Then, I mist the floor with the EC3 Shower spray in the section that I am going to sponge mop first.

EC3 Shower Spray is applied to the section of floor tiles where I’m going to mop.

I let the spray sit on the tiles for a minute or two, and then I go over it and that section of the floor with my sponge mop.

I sponge mop the section where I applied the EC3 Shower Spray to remove any excess and to sponge up any dirt.

Then, I move on to another section, spraying and mopping, section-by-section until I am finished. I also periodically rinsed my mop as I went to clean it between sections.

My bathroom has never smelled cleaner! I love knowing that the EC3 Shower Spray not only cleaned my floors, but is also helping to kill and fight mold.

I always love to hear from readers about other applications for my cleaners and cleaning methods. Please share with me on Facebook, if you like.
